Fairmont Athletics
Being a student-athlete at Fairmont means playing fair, having fun, and encouraging all students to succeed. The cooperative spirit of Firebird Athletics can be seen in collegiality of our coaches and the unity of our student body.
A member of the Greater Western Ohio Conference, Fairmont student-athletes compete at a higher level against some of the top athletic programs in Ohio. Fairmont Athletics Overview
It is our belief that through diligent perseverance, hard work, and sacrifice on the part of coaches and student-athletes, we can be competitive and successful on and off the playing field. As with academic programs, Fairmont offers levels of competition for all student-athletes.
Our coaches strive to be as competitive as possible while maintaining a positive posture with our student-athletes. In addition to instilling a winning attitude and the desire to gain a competitive edge, we also stress the importance of good sportsmanship and learning how to manage the life lessons that come with winning and losing.
