Why I Became an Educator

I had educators that made a significant impact on me when I was growing up. I chose to pursue education because there is no better way to impact our students and community than to lead and educate the young adults at Fairmont High School.

What excites me about my role at Fairmont?

My role is unique in that I am the only lead principal at Fairmont. It is exciting
to be a part of the many things happening in the building and I work with both
staff and students in many different capacities.

My favorite thing about being a Firebird is…

Being a part of a community and school district that puts the needs of our
students first and does everything possible to create many opportunities for our
students to learn about to be contributors to society.

One thing I hope a Fairmont graduate leaves with after high school…The ability to think critically and be prepared to pursue whatever they are passionate about in life.
